This is less about talking to organizers (I’d rather the role not exist) and more about talking to people participating in any broad projects. These are meant to be questions or curiosities directed at you to develop introspection about how you see yourself participating. I’d say this is 101 and if you’re brand new and here, then great. The caveat is, a lot of these writings are also developed by me observing people who’ve been doing this work for 20-30-40+ years and wondering, “have you not developed any introspection about how you exist in this space or any other space this whole time? “
So, it is from a place of frustration, but also a place of asking us to do better. These are questions I’ve asked myself in order to maintain a discipline in how I move, how I conduct myself. There will be more articles as they emerge and they are in no particular order.
